With injectables from The Aesthetic Group, you can age on your own terms.
We all age at different rates, however the aging process is something we all share. Wrinkles and lines begin forming and certain parts of the face start to lose volume–some faster than others. Statistics show a veritable revolution in the number of women (and men) seeking facial rejuvenation through injectables. What products are part of an anti-aging strategy?
Fillers and injectables demand not only a thorough knowledge of anatomy, but a true sense of artistry. Get in touch with Cindy Nickel today to see how we can start your facial rejuvenation.
Botox treatment is the most widely used non-surgical procedure in the United States. It can smooth facial wrinkles making crow’s feet, worry lines and laugh lines a thing of the past.
Over time muscles lose their elasticity and some muscles have trouble fully relaxing to their original state of rest. When facial muscles stay contracted they wrinkle the skin. These are referred to as dynamic wrinkle lines and all are treatable with this procedure.
Botox is placed into tiny facial muscles that create wrinkles. Therefore, allowing the muscles to relax and give your face a smoother, more youthful appearance.
Botox is the most widely known injectable used for this purpose. Ask us about our specials and which injectable is right for you. Scroll down the page to find frequently asked questions about Botox Cosmetic, its safety, and uses.
Juvederm Voluma® – One of the newest, deeper fillers, Juvederm Voluma® is designed to add volume beneath the skin’s surface to lift and contour the cheek area, counteracting age-related midface volume loss. Placed correctly, it can also benefit the jawline, recessed chin, temples and nasal labial folds. Its hallmark is building structure in addition to filling, providing an immediate change in appearance that lasts up to 2 years.
Juvederm Volbella® – A new addition to the Juvederm® family of products. Volbella® is a superficial filler (think “frosting”) with the consistency of soft gel. It is FDA approved for lips and lip lines, giving lips proper filling without unnatural projection. It can eradicate lip lines, fine lines on cheeks and “necklace” lines on the neck. Treatments last approximately 1 year.
Juvederm Ultra and Ultra Plus® – Intended for deeper nasolabial folds, mid-cheek, marionette lines. It corrects more severe facial wrinkles and folds and fills in depressed areas of the cheeks, reshaping facial contours. It can also be used for hand rejuvenation. Its longevity is dependent upon the area injected, but generally lasts 1-1.5 years.
Juvederm Vollure® – Over time, skin loses elasticity. This natural process, plus sun exposure, genetics and other environmental factors can cause wrinkles and lines. This filler is designed to give you a smoother appearance, whether you want subtle volume or a little extra volume.
Radiesse® provides an instant lift by restoring lost volume in areas of the lower face with the exception of the mouth and lips. Also a good choice for hand rejuvenation.
Particularly good for thicker skin or deeper folds because of its firmer consistency. It continues to benefit the body, stimulating the natural production of collagen for a more refreshed appearance. Can last 9 months to over a year.
Restylane® – is for mid-to-deep injection into the facial tissue for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds. This hyaluronic acid filler can also lift the brows and corners of the mouth. Results last 1 year.
Restylane Lyft® – considered when structure and support is indicated. Results appear gradually over several treatments and can last up to 2 years.
Kybella is FDA approved, non-surgical injectable that destroys fat cells, creating fullness beneath the chin and around the neck.
Dramatically improved profiles and tightened skin have often resulted after 2 to 3 sessions. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal.

Sclerotherapy is a medical procedure used to eliminate varicose veins and spider veins. Sclerotherapy involves an injection of a solution (generally a salt solution) directly into the vein. What is DAXXIFY™ and how is it different?
DAXXIFY™ is FDA approved to help smooth moderate to severe lines between the brows. It is the only long-lasting frown line treatment powered by a peptide with results that last on average 6 months and up to 9 months for some.* Conventional injectables last 3 – 4 months and require up to 4 treatments a year to maintain results.
Nearly 90% of patients say they wish results lasted longer. With DAXXIFY™ you can keep your frown lines smoother for a full year with as few as 2 treatments.*
Why are peptides important?
All frown line treatments require a special ingredient to stabilize botulinum toxin A, the protein responsible for helping smooth moderate to severe frown lines. For instance, BOTOX® Cosmetic uses human serum albumin (HSA), a blood product, as its stabilizer. Dysport®, another frown line treatment, uses HSA as a stabilizer and cow’s milk protein as a protectant. DAXXIFY™ is unique because it is the only formulation that uses a novel peptide as a stabilizer and does not contain human or animal byproducts.
Is DAXXIFY™ well studied?
DAXXIFY™ was studied in the largest-ever clinical study conducted for a frown line treatment and included more than 2,400 people across different ages and skin types. • There were no serious treatment-related side effects in clinical trials for DAXXIFY™ • The active ingredient in DAXXIFY™ is botulinum toxin type A, an ingredient that has been used in frown line treatments for more than 20 years • 96% of people treated with DAXXIFY™ were satisfied with their results†
